Nestled by a private lake surrounded by mountains and the beauty of nature, this retreat combines Pilates, conscious connected breathing, and proper breathing techniques during exercise to support your body and mind. You'll enjoy stretching and strengthening Pilates classes, designed for all levels, with modifications available to meet your needs.

Between sessions, nourish yourself with delicious vegetarian meals, reconnect with nature on hiking trails, refresh your senses with invigorating lake dips, and embrace the gift of me-time to truly rest.

Whether you’re new to breathwork and Pilates or a seasoned practitioner, this retreat welcomes you to unwind, reset, and leave feeling stronger, lighter, and deeply refreshed.

A unique retreat and creativity center nestled on a 125 acre property in the beautiful Laurentien Mountains, in Sainte-Lucie -des-Laurentides, approximately 100km from Montréal.

Meet Your Instructor and Facilitator

Aysu Sinman

Aysu is a certified Pilates instructor in matwork and all Pilates equipment—including Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels—trained by master instructor Vil Shaynurov, a renowned personal trainer to Hollywood stars in L.A. She is also a certified Yoga teacher with extensive experience teaching Mat Pilates, Ball Pilates, Yogalates, Pila-tone, Power Yoga, and Vinyasa to all levels.

With over 15 years of experience, Aysu specializes in adapting exercises to meet individual body conditions, ensuring a safe, effective, and inclusive practice for everyone. Her passion for well-being and the mind-body-spirit connection led her to become a trauma-informed Introspective Breathwork Practitioner.

She believes that true wellness is achieved by bringing both body and mind into alignment, integrating breath awareness and movement to achieve effective practices, release tension, and cultivate inner balance.

Her classes are challenging, fun, creative, and empowering, offering a dynamic space. Aysu currently teaches group and private sessions at Pilates Fusion and is part of the teacher team at One Breath Institute’s breathwork facilitator training program, helping to educate and mentor future breathwork facilitators.

With a professional yet friendly approach, Aysu creates a warm and welcoming environment where individuals enjoy and advance their Pilates skills.


FAQ

  • This retreat is for anyone looking to move, breathe, and reconnect—both with themselves and with nature. Whether you want to stay fit, relax, energize, or refresh, this experience is designed to nourish both body and mind.

  • No prior experience is needed. This retreat is open to all levels from beginners to experienced practitioners. Modifications will be provided to accomodate different body conditions and experience levels.

  • Comfortable activewear, walking shoes, indoor shoes, a swimsuit and beach towel, a hat. A reusable water bottle, a journal/pen, and any personal items (soap, shower gel, shampoo, etc). Warm clothing for cool summer evenings.

    Kio-O provides yoga mats, blocks, meditation cushions. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat if you prefer.

  • Delicious vegetarian meals will be served. If you have any food allergies please notify when filling out the choice of room form.

  • Yes! The schedule includes dedicated “me-time” for relaxation, journaling, self-reflection or just enjoing nature. You don’t have to join all classes. You are free to take more time alone, that’s also great. The choice is yours.
